Start cleanly in Definya: tutorial island, food, training, first daily tasks, safe low-level hunts, gems and the first Salvagers Forge loop.
By Definya Team for route planning, wiki references and official video context.
01 1. Clear the starter island first
The official creator walkthrough shows the modern new-player flow as intentionally guided. Follow the yellow arrows and complete the six tutorial steps before rushing to the main island.
- Kill the first rats when the tutorial asks for them.
- Read the food, HP recovery and hotkey prompts because those systems matter for the rest of the game.
- After the sixth step, move to the main island temple and set up food, depot and training before long hunts.
02 2. Train before you over-hunt
The subtitle evidence repeats the same early lesson: buy or gather food, keep vigor up and train core stats. Food is not just a healing item; it keeps training and recovery efficient.
- Melee characters should train weapon skill, strength, physical resistance and dexterity.
- Magic characters should train magic and magic resistance. Premium/VIP rooms make this faster, while free players can use accessible creatures once they have enough level.
- Dexterity matters because the video explicitly ties it to movement speed, which helps low-level safety.
03 3. Use daily tasks as your safe starter economy
The early task ladder is built for levels 1-30. The videos show small tasks like killing rats paying useful starter XP and coins, while gathering and crafting tasks feed food, leather, feathers, sticks and herbs back to the player.
- Do simple kill tasks and collection tasks before gambling on dangerous caves.
- Keep leather, feather, bone, wooden sticks, herbs, wheat and basic ores. The crafting video warns that small drops often become valuable later.
- Use Elara at the temple to access the depot and store nested backpacks of materials.
04 4. First hunts: safe route, then dwarf cave
Official videos point beginners through low-level hunts, then toward dwarf cave around the 20s. Current NPC levels match that path: low mobs first, then Orc Mage, Dwarf Guard and other level 20-30 enemies.
- Around level 20, try red centipedes, orc areas and dwarf routes only if your HP, food and potions are ready.
- Around level 23-30, dwarf cave is repeatedly described as strong XP and useful loot.
- Do not cross bridges or upper paths blindly. The video warnings mention forest enemies that can kill low-level characters even with gems.
05 5. First gold: depot, eyes, market and Salvagers Forge
The creator routes early gold through ghouls, eyes, cheap market gear and Salvagers Forge. The forge is powerful because it compresses hunt drops into materials, but it destroys the clicked item.
- Do not use Salvagers Forge on equipped, valuable or gemmed gear.
- Ghouls and cemetery-style hunts are cited as early eye farms; eyes are repeatedly described as sellable starter gold.
- If you can afford it, get a larger backpack and carry potions before dwarf/orc routes.
