Player guide for the Amazon class: spear combat, javelin spells, spear-only casting and Human-only availability.
Amazon is a spear fighter with thrown and ranged spear spells. It combines Distance and Dexterity progression with physical area attacks, stuns and a leap. Amazon is Human-only.

Spear requirement
Amazon spells require an equipped primary spear. A Hunter can still use spears, but Hunters cannot cast Amazon spells. Keep a spear equipped or the whole spell kit is unavailable.
Spells
Javelin Volley and Evasion are tier-one starter spells and are learned automatically. Every other spell needs a spell tome.

Leap Strike lands only on a walkable, unoccupied tile beside the target. It will not land inside a non-PvP zone.
Equipment
Amazon trains spears as its primary weapon. Distance and Dexterity are the strongest progression paths. The class has weaker magic affinity, so spear damage and weapon skills do most of the work.
