How to build around Sorcerer
- Prioritize magic. This is the class’s strongest progression lane.
- Use positioning, spells, and mana planning rather than trying to progress as a front-line weapon fighter.
- Dagger and shielding are less punishing than other physical combat skills, but still not core strengths.
- Distance is a poor progression direction for Sorcerer despite some older wording suggesting ranged flexibility.
Good early goals
- Learn and organize spells as they become available.
- Keep mana recovery and survivability in mind.
- Avoid spending early effort on multiple physical weapons unless you deliberately want a hybrid.
