In-Game Store and DC Purchases
What the Definya store sells, how checkout and fulfillment work, and how to buy with real money or Definya Coin from your DC Wallet.
Overview
The in-game store is the player-facing shop for premium items, account upgrades, and convenience services. Products are delivered to your account or selected character after payment is confirmed.
You can pay in two ways:
- Real money through Stripe checkout (card and supported regional currencies).
- Definya Coin (DC) from your shared account DC Wallet when DC store checkout is enabled.
Most store listings show both a cash price and a computed DC price. Paying with DC includes a markup compared with direct Stripe checkout, so real-money purchases usually cost fewer DC than the listed DC price for the same item.
How a purchase works
Whether you pay with Stripe or DC, the same fulfillment pipeline runs after payment succeeds:
- Choose a product in the store and confirm the character that should receive item deliveries (services and account features still tie to your user account).
- Checkout — Stripe opens an external payment page, or DC is debited immediately from your wallet.
- Validation — item and pack purchases check that the target character has enough free inventory slots before checkout completes.
- Fulfillment — the purchase system delivers scrolls, items, depot expansions, skins, or services through product handlers.
- Confirmation — the client receives purchase status updates as items arrive.
Purchase status moves through Created, Processing, Completed, Failed, and Fulfilled. If DC checkout succeeds but fulfillment fails, DC is refunded automatically to your wallet.
Items that land in inventory — such as premium scrolls, gem packs, and backpacks — are not activated automatically. Use them from your inventory when you are ready.
Product categories
The store catalog is built from product blueprints. Below are the main player-facing categories and what each one does.
Premium scrolls
Premium scroll purchases deliver a consumable scroll to your character inventory. Use the scroll to activate or extend premium time on your account.
| Store listing | Tier | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Silver Premium (7 Days) | Silver | 7 days |
| Silver Premium (30 Days) | Silver | 30 days |
| Gold Premium (30 Days) | Gold | 30 days |
| Ultimate Premium (30 Days) | Ultimate | 30 days |
Scroll rules match the premium account system:
- Using a scroll on a Free account activates that tier for the full duration.
- Using the same tier again extends remaining time.
- Moving to a higher tier converts leftover time by value so you do not lose what you already paid for.
- You cannot activate a lower tier while a higher one is still active.
For tier bonuses and how premium affects combat, crafting, and movement, see DC, Premium, and Vouchers.
Crystal packs
Social Crystals are a premium consumable currency used for map gates and high-tier crafting. The store sells them in packs (for example, 100 crystals per purchase) that are delivered to your character inventory like other stackable items.
See Social Crystals for earn sources, spend sinks, and planning tips.
Make sure you have inventory space before buying crystal packs — they count toward normal slot and stacking rules.
Gems
The store sells gems in two broad groups:
Crafting gem packs — bundled quantities of common socketing materials. The standard Gems Pack includes large stacks of blue sapphire, red sapphire, and jade for equipment enhancement and crafting.
Class-focused gems — single high-tier gems tuned to specific builds, including:
- Warrior Ruby Gem
- Sorcerer Sapphire Gem
- Berserker Obsidian Gem
- Druid Emerald Gem
- Rogue Amethyst Gem
Gem purchases are delivered to the selected character’s inventory. See Rarity, Gems, and Weight for how gems attach to gear.
Backpacks
Store backpacks are container items with more slots than the default backpack. They equip in your inventory slot and expand how much loot and supplies you can carry while hunting or crafting.
| Backpack | Slots |
|---|---|
| Hunters Backpack | 45 |
| Azure Backpack | 50 |
| Emerald Backpack | 60 |
| Crimson Backpack | 80 |
Some premium-tier backpacks may require an active premium account to equip. Check the item card and your account status before buying.
Depot slots
Depot slot expansions permanently increase how much you can store at the depot. In the store these may appear as Bank Slots listings, but they add capacity to your character’s depot storage — the same long-term storage you access through depot NPCs.
Available expansion sizes include +10, +20, +40, and +80 slot packages, with larger bundles offering better value per slot.
Depot expansions apply to the character selected at checkout and persist on that character’s depot. See Inventory, Containers, and Depot for how depot access works in game.
PK skull cleanup
Cleanup PK Skull is a one-time service purchase that removes your character’s active PK skull immediately.
This is useful when you want to clear skull penalties and bounty risk without waiting out the skull timer. It only applies if your character currently has a skull; otherwise the purchase completes with a warning and no skull change.
For what skulls mean in PvP and death, see PvP, Skulls, and Death.
Skins
Custom skins change your character’s appearance permanently. When you buy a skin product, you choose the skin during checkout (or from the skin picker tied to that listing). The selected look is applied to the chosen character after fulfillment.
Skins are cosmetic. They do not change stats, skills, or combat rules.
Paying with DC
Your DC Wallet balance is shared across every character on the same user account. DC store checkout:
- Debits DC immediately when validation passes.
- Delivers the same products as Stripe purchases.
- Refunds DC automatically if fulfillment fails after the debit.
You can also buy DC packs in the store with real money to top up your wallet. Those packs credit DC directly rather than delivering inventory items.
DC wallet activity — including store purchases, transfers, marketplace use, and refunds — appears in your transaction history.
Before you buy
- Inventory space — packs, scrolls, gems, backpacks, and crystal stacks need free slots on the receiving character. The store validates space before checkout when required.
- Correct character — item deliveries go to the character you select. Depot expansions and skins also bind to that character.
- Premium scroll timing — scrolls must be used manually from inventory; buying a scroll does not instantly activate premium.
- Skull cleanup — only buy PK skull cleanup when your character actually has a skull to remove.
- Purchase history — completed purchases are recorded on your account for support and auditing.
