Performance and Graphics Settings

How Definya detects device performance, adjusts visual settings automatically, preserves manual choices, and helps recover low FPS.

By Definya Team

Definya can choose a performance profile for your device automatically. The goal is to keep the game responsive on low-end phones while preserving richer effects on stronger hardware.

Automatic adjustment

Open Settings → Performance and keep Auto-Adjust for Device enabled if you want the game to manage the starting profile.

The settings screen can report one of these detected ranges:

  • Low-end device
  • Mid-range device
  • High-end device

The selected profile can adjust rendering mode and visual effects. If the game detects sustained low frame rate during play, it can step down to a lighter profile once to improve stability.

Manual choices are preserved

Changing a performance option yourself marks it as your choice. Automatic adjustment does not keep overwriting explicit manual preferences.

Use Reset to auto when you want to discard those overrides and let Definya apply the detected profile again.

Performance controls

The Performance section includes controls such as:

  • Performance Mode — High Performance, Default, or Low Power
  • Animated Tiles
  • Weather Effects
  • WebGL support
  • Show FPS Display
  • Disable Blood Effects

Some changes require a refresh before every effect is visible.

If the game is slow

  1. Leave Auto-Adjust for Device enabled and press Reset to auto.
  2. Turn on Show FPS Display to confirm whether the slowdown is persistent.
  3. Try Low Power and disable weather or other cosmetic effects.
  4. Refresh the game after changing settings when prompted.
  5. Close heavy browser tabs or background apps, especially on mobile.

Lower visual settings do not reduce character power, rewards, combat calculations, or map access. They only change how the client renders the game.
